Mountain Mayhem
21st and 22nd June 2008
The original 24 hour mountain bike endurance race and Europe's largest with over 2,000 competitors this event has a really family friendly, cycling festival feel. Events over the weekend include drag racing, mini-mayhem for children, skills schools, demo days, a huge bicycle expo arena and a 100km road sportive on Sunday - the Mayhem Classic.
Sleepless in the Saddle
August 2008
The other 24 hour mountain bike endurance race in the Pro-Velo calendar. A great atmosphere and what many consider to be a slightly more relaxed approach to racing than Mountain Mayhem make this another unique event. The weekend also hosts a large expo arena and the 100km Catton Classic road sportive.
24 hr Road Challenge
July 2008
A brand new road event for 2008 and the world's first 24 hour road challenge for teams of 5. This challenge takes place on a 9 mile closed road circuit on army training ground in south Wales.
